My hubby's squadron had a Christmas party, but as luck would have it, he was actually working that day. The girls and I decided to go anyway and have some fun. He was able to meet us there before the party so we could all have our picture taken.
A friend of a family member had sent us Flat Stanley, so that is why there is an extra family member in some of the photos! In case you are unfamilir with him, Flat Stanley is a character in a book (named after him) and is often used in class projects where children send him to friends and family around the world. He sends back letters and photos explaining about his travels and eventually makes his way back home, where they discuss his adventure.
After Chuckolate went back to work, the girls did lots of bouncing in a bouncy castle, then started on some of the craft tables. Before finishing all of their crafts, an announcement was made about a special visitor. Everyone headed outside and down the road to the flightline. We waited for awhile, and finally a helicopter arrived with Santa! He led everyone back to the hangar, where we finished our crafts and then grabbed a snack for the line to meet him!
