Magic monitor

We have a wonderful video monitor (thanks Uncle Toby and Mammaw!) so I am able to see, as well as hear, the kids when they are in their beds. I have always thought it very convenient and helpful to see if the baby is ok and whether Sophia is into mischief. However, I discovered that perhaps it has extra powers I was not aware of previously. I wonder if perhaps it can also tell the children's temperatures through some high tech scanning mechanism. It must be able to, or else why does Sophia keep calling it the "therm-monitor" ?
