Horse racing museum

As Newmarket is, "The Home of British Horse Racing," it has a museum dedicated to horse racing.  We had never been but jumped at the chance when there was an opportunity to go for free, and draw Bambi, the mascot of Sophia's horse riding school.  A local artist came to encourage the children to draw and colour and they handed out blank paper, colouring pages, crayons, and pencils.  Afterwards, we were able to wander around the museum.

Sophia and Tessa found a bench to sit together and draw their interpretations of Bambi.

Tessa's picture won for the 4 year old category so we received a Bambi Fan Club membership a few weeks later!

Sophia's drawing was very good and she loved doing it!

They also were given masks to decorate.

Sophia rode the mechanical race horse and it was going quite fast!  She said she much prefers REAL horses.
